English Premier League leader Chelsea remain unbeaten against Watford after a gruelling return fight from Watford. But Chelsea wasn’t so kind, when Prödl had leave the ground after a red card on his neck and Fabrigas scored the last winning goal at 88’, the game for Watford all over.
Chelsea squad scored four goals in total, Terry (22′ minutes), Azpilicueta (36′ minutes), Batshuayi (49′ minutes), Fàbregas (88′ minutes) and Watford scored Capoue (24′ minutes), Janmaat (51′ minutes), Okaka (74′ minutes).
Although Chelsea won the match the heroic display came from Watford goalkeeper as he took a knock on his back skull by saving a shot that nearly slipping through the net.
Ex-Chelsea Winger, Pat Nevin said on BBC radio 5, “I am not sure if Blue’s squad is good as they have been throughout the season, I think they need 3-4 top class player to go for Champions League next season and can be top competitive in English Premier League. I think they might get one player, Christensen from loan but they also have Nathan Ake. Chelsea has money so they should plan long-term. And I think Eden Hazard will do any good for the team for future.”
Chelsea has one last fight with Sunderland on Sunday the 21 May 2017.
