London Desk – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has criticised suggestions, that Spanish national team defender and Barcelona-born Hector Bellerin may set-off his way to Spanish capital Barcelona. What do we know about Hector Bellerin Barcelona move?
The big Spanish club has been in the football market for a brand-new right to back since Dani Alves move to Juventus in the last summer.
The defender has been really long linked with a bid to return to team Barcelona -this where Bellerin began his youth football career in the lower ranks – however it was on the news last week in Spain which suggested that the deal of £35million player move for Hector, who is 21-year-old may have been planned.
On the other hand, Wenger really paid a little attention to this speculation.
The Gunners manager stressed that Hector only just signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal in the last year of 2016 around November, meaning, it will keep the defender at the Emirates ground until 2022.
“We have only just renewed his contract,” said Arsenal boss Wenger.
“He still has the long number of years with Arsenal. But it is very hard to take these things very seriously.”
The Gunners next match with West Brom in the Premiership champions match to the Emirates Stadium in their league clash on the 18 Mar 17, Saturday.
